Choosing paint colors can be a tricky - but crucial - part of any home's interior design. And it can be deceivingly difficult. You might see a color in a painting and fall in love with it but matching that color is another story. Or you spot a color in someone else's home but it doesn't look quite as good in your own. Or you ask someone what that beautiful color is and they tell you white (and there are hundreds of "white" paint colors so good luck there).

The day we celebrate our dear old dads is quickly approaching. If you were to ask your dad what he might need, the response you receive is likely similar to the one I get: "Nothing. I don't need anything." And you probably feel just the way I feel in that we still want to give them something. Something that shows how much we appreciate their support and wisdom and how much we love them.

May always seems to be a busy month for everyone. School is ending and there are loads of graduations and parties. Then there's Mother's Day and, with this past weekend being Memorial Day weekend, vacations have begun and summer is in full swing. Taking care of the environment and making eco-friendly decisions are an important part of our society these days. There are so many ways we can reduce our carbon footprint, including recycling and buying eco-friendly products. Creating a sustainably designed home is also another way to protect and preserve the environment.

One of the many things that's great about living in Greenville is the number of festivals and events the city hosts. One of our favorite festivals that happens downtown every year is Artisphere. Artisphere is a juried international arts festival - as you probably could have guessed - that showcases talent across the country. In fact, it is one of the top 10 festivals in the U.S.
